Our Services
Here are just a few different services we offer but not limited to. Every project is different, the most important thing is that you choose a service that suits your needs, lifestyle and budget. We have carried out many projects over the years including:
-
Do I Need to Apply for Planning Permission to Convert a Barn? This type of conversion may not require planning permission and may fall under Permitted Development Rights. However, before commencing the development work, you should liaise with your Local Planning Authority. They will then determine whether planning permission is required or not.
-
Does my garage conversion need planning permission?Sit back, We do all the hard work for you making this a hassle free easy process. The vast majority of conversions do not require planning permission. This makes it very easy to get extra room in your home. We will do all of the paperwork required for your conversion from the initial informant of desired works to your local authority and ensure its inspected at each stage of works and passed by the local authority Building Control on completion of the project. A certification to ensure our work has been constructed to the required specifications will be issued on completion of the project. The conversion process typically involves removing the garage door and adding windows & doors, insulation, and interior finishes like plasterboard and electrical fixtures. Once plastered and all carpentry work is completed we can then decorate and lay a number of different floor types if you wish for us to do so, this will be asked when we come over to your property for a FREE home visit.
-
How much will my project cost? The cost of different projects can vary depending on various factors such as the size, the level of finishes, the materials used, the client's requirements and the complexity of the project. -
What month should you lay turf? The best month to lay turf largely depends on the climate and growing conditions in your specific region. In general, the ideal time to lay turf is during the cooler months of the year, either in the early spring or early autumn. Here are some guidelines: • Spring: Late winter to early spring (March to May) is often a good time to lay turf in regions with cold winters. The soil is typically moist from winter rains, and the moderate temperatures support grass growth without the stress of extreme heat. • Autumn: Early autumn (September to October) is another favorable time to lay turf, especially in areas with hot summers. The soil is still warm, and there’s usually more rainfall, providing an excellent environment for the grass to establish itself before winter.
